Spirit and Success Highlight Inspirational Morning

Thank you to all who participated in our March 19 Inspirational Morning! We celebrated the acts of kindness that bonded us together over the past year. Witnessing the courage, compassion, and charity of our agents and associates is a reminder of why our Keller Williams South Florida family continues to have such a positive impact on our communities.

There were over 400 agents and associates who came together for music, inspirational stories, and celebrating awards for top agents.

We learned about the emotionally powerful and uplifting story of Katie Lechner who suffered a horrific car accident last fall. Doctors told her she only had a 30-40 percent chance of survival. Katie’s KW Melbourne family came together to support Katie in her recovery and raising nearly $15,000 to offset medical expenses.

Our Coral Springs Market Center refused to let Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School be defined by tragedy. The associates have a special bond with their community and led a RED Day Walk-a-Thon that raised more than $53,000 for the school. They also worked with the alumni association to host a summer stay-cation for teachers as well as a gratitude breakfast for 250 administrators, teachers, and staff. In addition, Coral Springs associates partnered with the “Value-Up” program to present specialized breakout sessions for at-risk students, students in Leadership, teachers, staff, and parents at Westglades Middle School.

This amazing outreach and show of support is the epitome of what a group of Keller Williams associates can do to have an impact on the community—not just selling homes but touching lives.

Kent Temple shares team-building strategies.

Kent Temple, CEO of the Temple Team and KW International Master Faculty, shared his hard-earned secrets of team-building success with his outstanding presentation on how to “Leverage and Build a Top Talent Team for 2019.”

Mark Olesh, Regional Director - In the last 5 years, Mark has led the South Florida Region to Top 5 finishes in growing his team 3 times (including #3 in 2009, #2 in 2012, and #4 in 2013). In that same time span as Regional Director, total agent commissions have increased by $84 million. The Region has 28 market centers and over 5,000 agents. Mark began as a capping agent in Palm Harbor, became an ALC member and was then recruited into the Team Leader opportunity.
