RED Day continues to inspire a culture of giving in Coral Springs
Making a difference in the lives of others is at the heart of the Keller Williams culture. This giving spirit is best showcased when KW offices around the globe participate in RED Day, our annual of giving back to the communities we live and work in.
The agents and volunteers from KW Coral Springs consistently raise the bar on making a positive impact on helping those in need. Their 2018 RED Day event was a four-mile “Walk-a-Thon of Love and Support” for Marjory Stoneman Douglas (MSD) High School and the surrounding community. Through the partnership and participation of Keller Williams Elite Properties in Aventura and Keller Williams Partners in Plantation, they had an incredible turnout with 157 agents and nearly 20 additional volunteers.
KW Coral Springs also raised funds for their “2nd Wednesday Gifts of Love” monthly support initiative and for other conversations, they are having with Stoneman Douglas. They set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 through RED Day. The three Market Centers are close to reaching their goal with contributions still coming in.
In addition, they continue to inspire agents beyond RED Day to realize what a significant impact a little amount of a time can collectively accomplish. The ”Give 17 for 17″ campaign was started to honor the memories of the 17 students and staff who were killed on February 14. And additional $17,000 can be raised if every agent in their three participating Market Centers, plus their sister Market Center in Fort Lauderdale, donates $17 from their next closing (or from their heart).
Making a difference in the lives of others and bettering the communities that we serve makes up the core of who is at Keller Williams. We’re proud to have such generous and caring agents like those in KW Coral Springs in our family.
