The Market Center has a fundraising committee who are “at the ready” when we they hear of someone in need. The committee had 2 weeks to prepare for the event and sprang into action. Located in the MC parking lot facing Federal Highway, they brought in Grills, Quick Shades, a DJ, a live band, and a professional Auctioneer. Banners and open house signs lined the sidewalk in front of the building. There were over 30 donated items auctioned off by a professional (and very entertaining) auctioneer, ranging from dinner cruises, luxury staycations, merchandise, and ancillary services by the vendor community. Tickets were sold for $20 towards food & beverages and there grilled chicken quesadillas, all the toppings/sides home made by volunteers, sodas, beer, wine and sangria. The event was a huge success and the funds raised will help Daashia and her partner put their lives back together. Thanks to all that helped and continue to make KW Culture the heart of Keller Williams Realty.
