KW South Florida Agent Michael Light Scores a 3.15M Buyer for NBA Player Kevin Durant’s Miami Condo
Michael Light from Miami Luxury Homes of Keller Williams Realty in Coral Gables has done it again!
This time, Oklahoma City Thunder basketball star Kevin Durant’s penthouse at 900 Biscayne has just closed for $3.15 million.
Light represented an International Buyer on the deal and said there were multiple rounds of negotiation. It closed $300,000 below the asking price. Light secured the buyer through one of his powerful websites. He has 6 of them!
You may recall that about this same time last year, Light sold a $6.5 million dollar unit to a New York City Businessman. That was a 3 bedroom, 3 ½ bath unit at the St. Regis in Bal Harbour.
In the Durant deal, the basketball star had just gutted and remodeled the 3,800-square-foot residence. It also came furnished. Light said his buyer sees it as a good investment. In fact, the buyer also spent nearly $4 million on three side-by-side units at the upcoming Paramount Miami Worldcenter. Those units sit next to each other directly under the penthouse level.
In all, the buyer purchased four units which, for now, will become rental properties. Durant’s penthouse is expected to go for $22,000 a month.
