Picture Worth 1,000 Words
WoW! Isn’t this a cool picture? Zoom in. Have you looked at the faces? Looked closely? You see excitement, hope, joy. It’s really cool. This is the reaction to the trucks which pulled into the Fire Department in Breezy Point Queens
where the agents wiith the Keller Williams offices in Bayside, Jackson Heights & Brooklyn New York
were there to greet it. The trucks were loaded with relief supplies for those who were reeling in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. FULLY LOADED! I was AMAZED, though not surprised, when I saw pallet after pallet being lifted into a trailer truck. Clothes, bedding, food, batteries and flashlights were on their way to an area where ten’s of thousands of people had been knocked out of homes or were without power for days. Keller Williams agents from all over Florida were energized by the chance to help others. They always are! Super Kudos to Dan Feeney from Pembroke Pines who started the ball rolling by arranging for a free truck which was donated by OneBeatCPR out of Davie.
Who knew that truck would be completely filled so quickly? Undaunted, another one was quickly arranged for, by the North Florida Region which still had their supplies to send. And thanks should also go to Natascha Tello and Manny Deren who continued to push for those in the Region to do more even as KW Cares was in constant touch, supporting our agents and market centers. Thanks to all the Keller Williams Agents in Florida for stepping to the plate. It makes me proud to be in business with you. I knew it would be a boost, and seeing the grateful people in this picture really is worth a thousand words but 6 words come to mind. Keller Williams really is a family.
