I’ve noticed that even the best realtors sometimes doubt their professional value. A recent survey reminded me of just how important our role is to the consumer and we should never doubt the value of a great realtor.
- 42 % of survey takers on the real estate website Zillow said they expect home prices to go up annually—by a whopping 7 percent! The unscientific survey also showed that potential customers have uncertainty in other areas too.
- More than 40% believe they have to buy private mortgage insurance, also known as PMI, no matter how much money they put down.
- More than 50 % said they were unclear on appraisals and inspections and confused their purposes.
- 37 % said buying homeowners insurance is not required, when in fact, it is when there is a mortgage on the home.
The reality is, many realtors don’t take their real estate careers seriously or approach it professionally, and it does make a big difference.
Getting a license, learning your craft and taking the time to stay educated through regular, live, quality training classes does matter. Remember Home Buyers and Sellers NEED great realtors, like you!
